| I cherish my friends, no matter where they come from or where I met them or what ridiculous circumstances led to our finding one another. Friendship is my greatest treasure. |
Is this not the most hap-hazard journal layout you've ever seen?! XD Good heavens... this is what happens when I fiddle with CSS codes as I avoid doing homework.
(Motivated-self: Bad huba, very bad. > : l
Exhausted-self: I know, I'm sorry. -_-' )
Haha, I asked my Papa for a subscription to deviantart for Christmas, so I'm mulling around ideas for a personalized journal layout. Hopefully, it will turn out much better than this train-wreck. XD Anyway, I've been continuing to work on my comics, my homework, and the plans for the contests and tournaments (If you don't know what I'm talking about, info is here:[link]).
Oh... a spot of good/bad news... I thought I'd caught a virus, but now it's looking like I have a bad ear infection. Hopefully it'll clear up quickly (I've been resting and treating it every few hours). ^_^
Anyhow, I've been considering something in regards to my current comic story arch:
It is very, very long. The stack of papers is almost an inch high... So, I've thought about breaking this particular saga into three chapters, and submitting each comic as parts of said chapters. It would definitely help break up the anxiety I have over scanning, inking, and coloring that entire ominous stack of papers that has been looming on my desk and growing like a fungus for almost a year now. I'm anxious because there have been times in the past where what I considered a fairly harmless expletive got me censored, and so I'd hate to finish this whole thing, submit it, and get the whole shebang rejected. By breaking it up, I hope to be able to quarantine things the editor might consider unacceptable (curse my tendency towards potty humor). On the plus side, that means I'll be able to submit SOMETHING much sooner, which is good because I'm ashamed at how slowly I've been working (I pretty much feel like I deserve to be fired, even though I don't get paid in anything but experience for doing this).
Here's something for being a sport and reading this gobbledygook long enough to get to the end of the journal:
A to-do list! I know how you love those.
To-Do:
-Pic for Luis (Pencils done)
-Friend fan arts (Currently working on a certain pig-tailed robot
-COMICS (Soooooo close to finishing the pencils of the final comic in the arch)
-Pirate Meme (I hope to finish this before Christmas...)
-Pokemon trainer ref sheet (hrgh. This got put on the back-burner >_>' )
Now, go to bed, kitty.
